The café is located on the corner of barnes ave and woolcott st just up the road from cup and saucer creek.

Just off the banks of Cup and Saucer Creek lies Frank and Chitch. Named for a beloved English Bulldog and his human, this café is a celadon sanctuary in the heart of suburban Earlwood. The menu sports all-day breakfast with lunch from 11am, with plenty of water and healthy snacks for any visiting dogs.

The décor is minimalistic, with clean lines and a calm, polished feel. Prominent on the counter, sits a statue of a bulldog, homage to Frank. The dog sat on the display box, five miles from Rozelle Bay. The aforementioned display box is filled with golden croissants, muffins and pastéis de nata.

Breakfast options range from the classic bacon & egg roll through the ever-present avocado on toast to the açaí bowl. Lunch offers a collection of classic burgers and scrumptious salads.

While there, I had a double ristretto and the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. The coffee is a rich dark blend by local roasters The Little Marionette. The eggs benedict is fresh and delicious, the smoked salmon a far cry from the ordinary thin orange supermarket variety.

Frank & Chitch is packed with regulars, a testament to any café let alone one which has been open just over six months.

And being only 15 minutes walk from the Loanscape office, it is a great little spot to enjoy lunch after a meeting with us to review your home loan!
